Race versus Social Class Theory: Race contrasts in character and social position were, and are, a higher priority than class contrasts in American culture. (Smedley 219) For some decades individuals have been utilizing race as an approach to characterize people into various social classifications. Lower, Middle, and Upper classes were made to isolate people into proper classifications utilizing their individual ways of life, money related salary, habitation, and occupation. Individuals chose to disregard this ordering framework and characterize each other, just by the shade of their skin. Individuals' skin shading says nothing concerning what an individual does, their convictions, mentalities, or any of the thoughts for making a reasonable social arrangement framework. Racial boundaries were made that separated individuals into various gatherings at work and at home. Race contrasts in character and social position were, and are , a higher priority than class contrasts in American culture. The job of work, cash, and the impact they have on people has changed all through the previous years because of social classes and bigotry. Social classes being founded on by race is only the start of the distinctions. In the work power there are consistently individuals who want to overwhelm in their field or calling exclusively in light of the fact that they think they are the prevailing social class or race. Individuals of any position at the workplace will look downward on others, not on account of their position, yet skin shading.
